Advantages of Hybrid Cars

A hybrid vehicle is a great way to segue into an environmentally friendly lifestyle. Hybrids not only run cleaner but also result in reduced gas mileage, as the twin powered engine conserves energy whilst decreasing the consumption of fuel used. If you are mainly a city driver, it’s definitely possible given the battery integrated into the Fusion, that you could drive entirely on an electric motor.

Another obvious benefit of a hybrid is that it contributes to using fewer fuels to run which results in fewer emissions and subsequently a decrease in the use of fossil fuels. If you’re looking to decrease your carbon footprint, this hybrid could be the perfect option for you.

Charge & Go

Most people’s biggest hesitation with a hybrid plug-in or fully electric vehicle is not having the proper access to charger stations. Worry no longer,  every plug-in Ford vehicle comes a standard Ford mobile charger. Using various types of electrical outlets will affect the speed and outcome of your charge. In addition, a number of home installation options are available to upgrade to. These Ford Connected Charge Stations upgrade packages give you the ability to track charging history, control charging speeds, and monitor your vehicle’s home energy use.

If you’re en route to your next destination and running low on juice, using your FordPass App you’ll be able to quickly and easily access a FordPass Charging Network™. A number of new charging stations will be popping up before the launch, making planning your next weekend getaway a breeze.

Ford Introducing Charging Stations Across North America

Ford makes going hybrid a breeze as they announce that Canadians will have total access to the entire FordPass Charging Network in North America. Canada will soon be equipped with more than 1,400 public charging stations and 3,500 charge plugs with plans of that number growing.
