I’m Jeff McKechnie. Regina has been my place to call home for my entire life. I have been working with the Capital Group for approx. 20 years in total and can say I have loved every moment! I am married with 3 very active kids that have kept me running from Ringette rinks to basketball courts in my free time. If we aren’t at the courts or the rinks, you may find the family and myself out at the lake or on a snowmobile.
Automotive has always been a passion of mine, from a very young age I was always intrigued with mechanical fundamentals. When I started out as a Service Advisor back in 1993, I knew very quickly that this was the career for me. In 2012 I was offered the position of Service Manager with Capital Ford Lincoln and have never looked back. My current role is General Service Manager, this role holds the responsibilities of Service Manager, but also allows me to work alongside our Fleet Team on behalf of both Capital Ford Lincoln and Capital GMC Service Depts. This collaboration is one of the many features that sets the Capital Group apart and allows us to offer a level of Service and offerings that in unmatched to our Fleet Customer.
The automotive industry is going through a transition unlike any that we have seen in the last 60 years, it is a very exciting time as we transition from combustion engines to Hybrid and Electric. I have based my career on putting my customer first and ensuring they are always satisfied. I look forward to growing new relationships with clients and continuing existing ones!
I am currently celebrating my 23rd year in the auto business, all of which have been with Ford. I have worked in several departments including retail and finance. For the last 13 years, I’ve been enjoying my position of Fleet/Medium Truck Manager. As busy as my day-to-day operation is, Capital Ford still allows me the time to be out in the community coaching minor hockey, baseball, and to serve part-time on the board for North Regina Little League. I enjoy coming to work every day, meeting new people, and having a cup of coffee with my clients.

I have worked at Capital Ford Lincoln, formally Percival Mercury, for 30 years now, and have a total of 35 years in the automotive industry. I started working as a automotive technician and received my training at Siast in Moose Jaw. I have had a few different positions during my time with Capital Ford Lincoln. I have worked as a service advisor, assistant service manager, and heavy truck service manager. Currently, my responsibilities include overseeing the parts and service dept as the fixed operations manager. I am very fortunate to be working with an awesome staff in both parts and service. We have 35 technicians of which 14 are Ford Master Certified Technicians. This is the highest training designation for a Ford Tech. Our collective goal is to provide a great service experience for our customers focusing on a high quality repair and outstanding customer service. Our industry is constantly changing and advancing which creates a lot of excitement with our staff. I really enjoy working at Capital Ford Lincoln.
